Make Me Dizzy Cowl

A really fun textured cowl made of knit and purl stitches worked in the round.

Snug up the drawstring, turn up a brim and it becomes a hat

Either side can be the “right” side, depending on how you like it.

Great Gifts!  Quick to knit!

The pattern is both written and charted.

Either side can be the “right” side!

Requires only approx. 100grams/300 meters of a sport weight yarn.

Can of course be knit longer or shorter depending on what you want.

There is an optional crochet chain that is woven through one edge of the cowl (spaces created by using yarn overs) that when snugged up can create a slouchy hat. Roll the opposite edge of the cowl to complete the slouchy hat look.

Or knit it without the spaces and chain to wear as a cowl.
Or make 3 stitch I-cord instead of a crochet chain.

Quick and easy gift for anyone!

I used Classic Elite, Fresco, 60% wool – 30% baby alpaca – 10% angora, 50 gram/164 yards, 2  skeins, color 5318 – a lovely burnt umber.
